Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hirevers (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account through your Google or GitHub login.

3. Accounts and Roles

  • Freelancer accounts are free and allow you to create a profile, list services, and showcase a portfolio.
  • Business accounts require payment and unlock job postings (up to 5 active listings), advertisements, and a verified business badge.
  • You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions such as job posting limits.

4. Payments

  • Business account and advertisement fees can be paid using a card, bank transfer, e-wallet, or other local payment method ("fiat payment"), or via Bitcoin.
  • Fiat payments are processed securely through a licensed, regulated third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number, bank credentials, or e-wallet login details.
  • Bitcoin payments are shown with USD-equivalent pricing at the time of purchase and are verified by checking the Bitcoin blockchain. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, and we are not responsible for funds sent to the wrong address or for network fees charged by the Bitcoin network.
  • Advertisements are tied to a specific job posting, and each job posting may have one active advertisement at a time. You may purchase advertisements for multiple job postings simultaneously, subject to your active job posting limit.
  • We do not offer refunds for completed payments except where required by law.
  • If a fiat payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed (e.g. a chargeback), we reserve the right to suspend or deactivate the associated business account or advertisement until the matter is resolved.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent service listings, job postings, or reviews.
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or discriminate against other users.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, business account requirements, or any technical restriction.
  • Upload malicious files, scrape the platform at scale, or interfere with normal operation of the Service.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Use stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment methods to pay for any account, advertisement, or feature.

6. Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of the content you post (profiles, services, portfolio items, job listings, reviews). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the Service. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

7. Job Applications

When you apply to a job, your application materials (CV, cover letter, portfolio link) are sent directly to the business that posted the listing. We are not a party to any employment or contracting relationship formed between freelancers and businesses, and we do not guarantee employment outcomes.

8. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. You may not review your own services or accounts you control. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of user-submitted content, or any particular business or hiring outcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hirevers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses related to payment processing, Bitcoin transactions, missed employment opportunities, or third-party conduct.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
